Describe the operating history
State the last known operating date, stored condition, previous repairs and any modifications.
List visible and reported faults
Separate confirmed observations from assumptions and note whether the machine can be moved or started safely.
Collect documentation
Prepare manuals, parts catalogues, repair records, drawings and previous inspection results when available.
Define the required result
Explain whether the goal is diagnosis, repair, restoration, part supply, training or a staged pilot project.
